Before making his way to America, Wally spent several years in Italy — where he fell in love with the pride people took in their craft. Clothing was respected, garments were cared for by hand, and quality showed in the smallest details.
When he arrived in Michigan, he brought those values with him — along with a dream of building a better future for his family.
With hard work, long hours, and a promise to always do things the right way, Wally built what would become Wally's Cleaners — a neighborhood business rooted in honesty, reliability, and genuine care for every garment that comes through the door.
As the business grew, so did the family behind it. Wally's two sons grew up in the shop — helping customers after school, pressing garments, making deliveries — and learning that great service is built one relationship at a time. Their father's dream became the family's shared commitment.
Today, Wally's Cleaners is still family-owned and operated, blending old-world craftsmanship with modern garment care for families across Metro Detroit.
